Green Elephant Sanctuary Park sits in the hills behind Cherngtalay, Swiss-founded and run to European animal-protection standards: no chains, no riding, forty thousand square metres of stream and jungle. The half day is hands-on: you feed the large elephants and the young ones, hear a short talk on the park and on Asian elephants, then change and get into the mud spa with them, wash off in the freshwater pool, and sit down to a Thai buffet. The park's photographers shoot the whole visit. Morning session with pick-up around 6:30 to 7:00, back by 12:30; afternoon session with pick-up around 12:30 to 13:00, back by 18:30. Operated with The Crystal Tour, a licensed Phuket travel agent since 1992.
