About this tour
The simplest way to see the island on your own terms: a comfortable car with a driver who knows the roads, for as long as you need. Four hours covers Big Buddha and Wat Chalong with a stop at Promthep; eight covers the Old Town, a beach lunch and the sunset viewpoints; twelve is a full day from the north of the island to Rawai. Car with driver: 4 hours ฿1,600, 6 hours ฿2,200, 8 hours ฿2,800, 12 hours ฿3,600. With a licensed local guide: 4 hours ฿2,400, 6 hours ฿3,000, 8 hours ฿4,300, 12 hours ฿5,100.
